Nigori-zake (にごり酒) is pressed through a coarse mesh, so some of the lees stay in the bottle. It ranges from lightly hazy (usu-nigori) to thick and creamy. Many are sweet; some are dry and textural.
How to drink it: gently turn the bottle to mix the sediment, then serve chilled. Great with spicy food.
